User Guide

Use Your Training Bud fast.

The app is built around one loop: choose the right day, log what actually happened, close out, and let the next suggestion stay honest.

1

Start or switch days

Open Today, tap Start Workout, or use Change Day when you need to move legs, push, pull, or arms around. Your Training Bud preserves history by session, not by calendar guilt.

2

Log actual reps

If the target is 3 sets of 8 and you only get 6 on the final set, enter 6. Progressive overload suggestions depend on the truth, not wishful math.

3

Use plate math

For barbell lifts, tap Plates. Your Training Bud uses your bar, collars, and plate inventory to show exact plates per side or the closest achievable load.

4

Skip intelligently

Short on time? Skip one exercise instead of abandoning the session. Your closeout still captures the workout and the missed lift stays visible in context.

5

Close out

Score readiness, output, effort, focus, and recovery. If you forgot to close the session at the gym, edit duration before saving.

6

Export and import

Your Training Bud Pro creates JSON backups, journal markdown, and Training Passport files. Use AI Exchange for plan review; use Import when moving devices or restoring a full Your Training Bud backup.
